Something big is brewing in Boston… and it’s not another Tea Party. This week IFS is hosting its annual World Conference in this lovely, historical city; an event that attracts some of the biggest and most successful organizations from all over the world to one place to learn more about the agile software that they operate on.

Among the attendees are those service organizations that have chosen one of IFS’s three service solutions to manage their field service operations. They are coming to Boston to hear user case studies about implementing and using our software, to watch industry experts apply new trends to real life, and to learn about the exciting things that IFS is doing to take their service solutions to the next level.

With in-depth product training sessions, six customer presentations, and industry thought leadership tracks available to fill the days of our service provider customers, these organizations are guaranteed to walk away with takeaways they can apply to their business for more efficient operations and a competitive edge.

So why the focus on service? According to the United States Trade Representative, the service sector makes up 75% of the UK GDP and 68% of the US GDP, and 4 out of 5 US jobs are service jobs. The service sector is changing and growing rapidly, based on new customer demands, emerging technological advances, and new expectations from organizations looking to run their service departments as profit centers.

IFS recognizes the need for service organizations to be agile and flexible to adapt to business change and our support of service both at WoCo 2015 and beyond is focused on helping these organizations achieve their goals.

What service related messages will IFS be focusing on at World Conference?

The March to the Cloud – IFS has always provided On-Premise Perpetual licensing options for prospects and customer but we continue our march to the cloud by taking advantage of leading technologies.
Leading End-to-End Service Management – IFS Field Service Management and Mobile Workforce Management have added significant functions that improve the operations of our customer and prospects. We have focused on customer relationship management, end-to-end service delivery, adoption of leading edge technology, and enhancements to service
planning capabilities.
Ability to Execute – The WoCo conference has a number of sessions designed to support these central themes by showcasing product capabilities and the latest development activities.
